Ana Sophia Garlejo, a 3rd year student of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at DMMMSU-SLUC, romped away with gold as she clinched the top spot during the Oratorical Speech Competition on the 33rd National Statistics Month – Provincial Level.

Anchored in the theme, “Boosting the country’s recovery with informed decision, better policies,” the contest was held at the DMMMSU International Convention Center in Bacnotan, La Union on October 13, 2022.

Garlejo will represent La Union in the Regional-wide competition. Further details regarding the date and place are set to be announced soon.

Last year, Garlejo also edged out all contestants of the Spoken Word Poetry during the same event.
