To collaboratively address the global challenges in higher learning through internationalization efforts and empowering the University’s mantra “embracing world class-standards”, DMMMSU once again renewed its collaboration to implement an international credit transfer program (ICTP) this semester with Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) and Universitas Pendidikan Ganisha (UNDIKSHA), in Indonesia.

Thirty six (36) inbound students from UKI started attending classes with DMMMSU faculty members on September 12, 2022. DMMMSU in the South La Union Campus also sent 7 Bachelor of Arts in English Language, 2 Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and 5 Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics students to study in UKI for a semester.

Meanwhile, UNDIKSHA provided DMMMSU with 21 students who are now enrolled in Communication, Culture and Society class under the BA Communication program in SLUC.

The inbound and outbound students are set to finish the said program until December 2022.

Dr. Jesus Rafael B. Jarata, University Director for Internationalization, Linkages and ETEEAP, said this international engagement fulfills the DMMMSU’s strategic plan for international linkages and partnerships.

“We are grateful to UKI and UNDIKSHA for entrusting their students to DMMMSU, which means that we are recognized in this region for the outstanding quality of education we provide to our international students”, he added. (Marjorie Toledo)
