DMMMSU continues to expand its international reach through faculty exchange programs.
This semester, the University welcomed its new faculty exchange from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in Indonesia to conduct lecture series in Intercultural Communication and Organizational Communication classes for the Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Bachelor of Arts in Communication programs in the three campuses.
For the months of March to May, the exchange lecturers will be conducting exclusive lectures and engage in discussions with DMMMSU students from each campus.
UNDIKSHA’s faculty exchange lecturers are Prof. Dr. Luh Putu Artini, Prof. Dr. I Gede Budasi and Ms. Nyoman Karina Wedhanti.



An educator and researcher, Prof. Dr. Artini delivers lectures in numerous teachers’ forums and conferences in Indonesia. He finished her masters and doctorate degree from Australia’s La Trobe University and New Castle University, respectively. She has also attended non-degree training on Bilingual Education in Leuven Education College (Belgium) and Early Literacy in Indiana University (USA). Her fields of expertise include EFL pedagogy, bilingual education and Teaching English for Young Learners.
Prof. Dr. Budasi is a professor in linguistics. He attended postgraduate diploma in Applied Linguistics Singapore, and masters and doctorate degrees in Applied Linguistics from University of South Australia (Australia) and Universitas Gajah Mada (Indonesia). He has been serving as a speaker and lecturer in international and cross-culture conferences in Europe. His research interests include linguistics, historical-comparative linguistics, English for Specific Purposes and Cross-cultural Understanding.
Ms. Wedhanti, whose expertise includes EFL pedagogy, English for Specific Purposes, culture in language learning and material development, is UNDIKSHA’s head of Career Center. She is also an active member of Indonesia’s Career Center Network.
DMMMSU faculty members, Prof. Ma. Evelyn D. Corpuz (MLUC), Dr. Hannah O. Grindulo (NLUC) and Dr. Manilyn R. Cacanindin (SLUC), received the lecturers from UNDIKSHA in their respective classes.
DMMMSU also sent five faculty members to engage in exclusive lecturer series in UNDIKSHA’s language and communication classes. [Story on this to follow soon]
A program initiated by the University Office of Internationalization, Linkages and ETEEAP, the faculty exchange lecture series manifests DMMMSU’s efforts in overcoming global challenges by welcoming different perspectives from partner institutions through national and international collaborations.
