DMMMSU and the Chonburi Technological College (CTC) institutionalized their mutual agreement to collaborate in a number of areas of common interest such as education, research, and training.

In a virtual signing ceremony held via Zoom on March 14, 2022, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions was signed in by DMMMSU President, Dr. Jaime I. Manuel Jr., and CTC Director Dr. Wanna Tanpraphat — putting emphasis on cooperation to establish programs of exchange and collaboration such as student teaching practicum, faculty/student exchange, joint development activities and conferences, exchange lecture series, cultural immersion, research and social development.

Dr. Manuel emphasized that one of his key goals is to increase mutual understanding between the University and the people of the ASEAN region by means of educational and cultural exchanges.

Meanwhile, Dr. Tanpraphat expressed her appreciation to DMMMSU for becoming an ally in the quest for internationalization in the ASEAN region. She mentioned that they will build other’s strength and implement initiative that will benefit their institutions faculty members, staff and students.

Witnesses to the ceremonial signing from CTC included Ms. Puncharasm Tanpraphat, Deputy Director of Organization Development; Ms. Suppawan Suwannaparn, Foreign Languages Department Head; Ms. Jhonilyn Q. Flores; Coordinator for Foreign Teachers; other CTC officials and teachers.

DMMMSU has so far signed five MOUs and MOAs with international partners this 1st quarter of the year. The first five were with universities in Indonesia and Vietnam. More universities to follow this year with the prospect of opening doors in the Eastern and Northern Europe and the USA. (JRBJ)
