Three learners from the College of Education Laboratory Elementary School (LES) and Laboratory High School (LHS) of the North La Union Campus bagged awards during the 6th Bacnotan Reading Month Celebration held in November 2021.
Among the winners in the different contest areas are:

Dr. Elma S. Ocampo, LES Chairperson, and Prof. Joan S. Valdez, LHS Chairperson, respectively, together with their coaches, received the awards during the Culminating Program and Awarding Ceremony held at Bacnotan Farmer’s Civic Center on December 29, 2021.
“I am very thankful for the efforts and preparations of the chairpersons, coaches, and contestants. Their persistence resulted in something successful. More winnings to come for the College of Education,” expressed Dr. Nora A. Oredina, Dean of the College of Education during a quick exchange.
This years’ celebration is anchored in the theme “Bawat Bata Bumabasa sa Kabila ng Hamon ng Pandemya” which aims to promote the love for reading among learners and to showcase their talents along with reading-related activities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
