Jenfrey Benafin, a second year BACOMM student, secured the top place in the 32nd National Statistics Month Virtual Essay Writing for the Tertiary Category (Provincial level) last October 20, 2021.

After acing the provincial contest, Benafin competed for the regional level and won third place.

“I’m proud that I got that far. Hindi ko rin naman ineexpect na ito lang ulit yung contest na sinalihan ko,” Jenfrey said after winning in both competitions. The awarding of winners will be held during the provincial closing ceremony on October 28, 2021. (Danna Mea Laurain Marcos)
