DMMMSU has forged partnership with DepEd RO1 for the Development of e-Application for Private Schools and Records Management System. President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. and Dr. Tolentino G. Aquino, DepEd Regional Director signed in the agreement at DepEd Regional Office, City of San Fernando this morning, August 10, 2021.

Also present during the MOA signing were Dr. Ronald B. Castillo, Assistant Regional Director; Dr. Oscar Flores, Chief Office of Quality Assurance Division; Education Program Supervisors; Dr. Eduardo Corpuz, MLUC Chancellor; Dr. Eusebio Mique, MLUC MIS Head; Dr. Alvin Malicdem, Dean of the College of Information Technology; and other MLUC Officials.

In his message, President Manuel thanked DepEd RO1 for tapping the expertise of IT Professors of the College of Information Technology (MLUC) in helping improve DepEd’s operations through an ICT research project.

“I was informed that the development has already been completed; however, our role does not end there. As we sign the memorandum of agreement this morning, we are also kicking off the research, extension, and implementation activities related to this project. Rest assured that DMMMSU through the College of Information Technology will be providing technical assistance, and conduct regular monitoring, maintenance and upgrading throughout the implementation and utilization of the system,” Manuel added.  

The College of Information Technology has been responsible in developing the Enrollment System of DMMMSU which includes the complete module i.e. Student Registration and Information System, Cashiering etc), and also the Record’s Management System for ISO processes which have been adopted for use in the entire University.
