Senator Emmanuel Joel Jose Villanueva allocated 5 million pesos for the construction of bleachers of the Multipurpose Building in the Mid La Union Campus. The repair started in February and its completion is expected this month.

This project is in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Highways, City of San Fernando headed by Engr. Jose G. Ginete, Jr.

The Multipurpose Building also called the Covered Court serves as a venue for programs and sports activities.

Senator Villanueva also allocated the amount of Php 9, 610, 607. 71 for the repair of the Ortega Marine Educational Center and the FRTI Beach House at DMMMSU’s Fisheries Research and Training Institute (FRTI), located at Paraoir, Balaoan, La Union. (Kelly Grace Mendoza)
