The conduct of gatherings involving quite a great number of participants has become a challenge in the ‘new normal’ setting. But this challenge is dealt in with much ease by DMMMSU medical and disaster risk reduction team.
This smooth execution of protocols was well appreciated by attendees during the 40th Foundation Anniversary Celebration.
Identified attendees were given QR code which when scanned links them to an online health declaration form. Without the QR code, they were not be permitted to enter in the event place. Temperature checks were also done prior to entry. Attendees from various units also had their temperature checked in their respective units before their travel to Bacnotan. In addition, a no-face-mask and no-face shield-no entry protocol was also implemented. Also, seating at the event hall adhered to physical distancing of at least 1-1.5 meters apart. (Ayu)
