
Sixteen (16) degree programs of the University have been recently awarded Certificates of Program Compliance (COPCs) by CHED .
The following are the 7 programs from College of Education (SLUC):

- Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in English, Filipino, Math, Science and Social Studies (CMO No. 75, s. 2017)
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (CMO No. 76, s. 2017)
- Bachelor of Special Needs Education (CMO No. 77, s. 2017)
- Bachelor of Physical Education (CMO No. 80, s. 2017)
- Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (CMO No. 82, s. 2017)
- Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Majors in Agri-Fishery Arts, Information and Communication Technology, Home Economics (CMO No. 78, s. 2017)
Also, the following are the 7 programs from the College of Graduate Studies (SLUC):
- Master of Science in Computer Science
- Master of Arts in Science Education
- Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling
- Master of Arts in Language Teaching
- Master of Arts in Teaching Music
- Master of Arts in Special Education
- Master in Development Administration
BS Nursing from College of Community Health and Allied Medical Sciences (CCHAMS) (SLUC) and MS Agribusiness Management (NLUC) were also awarded COPC.
The Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) is a recognition that the specific degree programs being offered by SUCs/LUCs are fully compliant with the policies, standards, and guidelines of CHED.
CHED Preliminary Assessment (CPA) ascertains the readiness and capability of the SUCs/LUCs to operate a new program in terms of:
- Availability of qualified program head and faculty members,
- Presence of adequate library resources,
- Presence of adequate laboratory facilities/equipment
- Whether the program/s to be offered is within their mandate
Pursuant to Section 10 of Republic Act No. 10931 otherwise known as “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act”, Quality Standards for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) Budgets, Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Student Loans Programs, CHED and TESDA ensure quality standards in the review and consequent endorsement of the budget of the SUCs and LUCs and state-run Technical-Vocations Institutions (TVIs), respectively.
