From today, November 9, until November 13, 11 new programs of the University will undergo Preliminary Survey Visit by Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) via online. A preliminary survey visit is conducted to determine the readiness of the program for a formal survey visit.

Dr. Elsie M. Pacho, Director for Instruction, serves as the contact person for AACCUP accreditors. She has also been communicating with AACCUP about accreditation matters and spearheading this accreditation endeavor for the entire University.
Opening programs and exit conferences which are normally done during onsite accreditation visits will also be conducted online. Messages of the University President and the Vice Presidents and other speeches were recorded for ease of presentation during the simultaneous opening programs in the three campuses.

Online accreditation is AACCUP’s means of helping state colleges and universities to ensure program quality even during the ‘new normal’. Accreditors were required to undergo virtual training and workshop on online accreditation before they were requested to do their critical task. (Ayu)
