A BS Agriculture student finally came back home after one year of internship in Israel despite the struggles brought by the pandemic.

Michael Dengaey started his internship in September 2019 where he trained in Israel’s agricultural sector and completed his training this September.

The university coordinated with PGLU, DOH, PNP and CHED for Dengaey’s return to the Philippines and followed existing health and travel protocols. Upon arrival on October 5, Dengaey was quarantined first in Manila before he was able to travel north.

He was turned over to the RHU of San Emilio, Ilocos Sur and is undergoing 14 days of quarantine.
