DMMMSU Open University System joined in the virtual media briefing with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Central Office and another with the CSC Regional Office 1 on September 1, 2020 to kickstart the 120th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. The two virtual media briefings were shared on DOUS Facebook page (fb.com/DMMMSUopenuniversity).
Featured panelists in the first briefing were Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala, CSC Commissioner Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada, Anti-Red Tape Authority Director General Jeremiah B. Belgica, Dept. of Information and Communications Technology Usec. Alan A. Silor, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, and Innovation Council Executive Director Enrico C. Paringit. They shared their insights about this year’s Philippine Civil Service Anniversary theme, “Public Sector in the Age of Digital Transformation”.
In the second briefing, CSC Region 1 Director IV Hedy Jose Lardizabal and Director III Josephine Altura were joined in by other directors of CSC Field Offices in Region 1, Regional Directors of other agencies, and members of the media.
DOUS personnel also participated in a socially-distanced flag ceremony before the start of the media briefing.
