The first batch of trainees for the Instructional Design Tools for Distance Learning training started doing workshops yesterday in parallel sessions with the experts from the College of Computer Science.

This 3-day activity aims to upgrade the online teaching skills of the SLUC faculty in preparation for the new educational setup.

Presenting different media platforms for the faculty to use, the trainers (Prof. Maria Jeseca C. Baculo, Prof. Kathrina T. Dacanay, Prof. Charlie S. Marzan, and Prof. Enrico G. Dacanay) introduced the participants to using MS PowerPoint to record lessons, editing videos using Wondershare Filmora, recording audios using Audacity, and using Google classroom.

Batch 2 happens on June 1-4 and Batch 3 will be on June 8-11, 2020.
