With the whole world transitioning to the ‘new normal’, DMMMSU-SLUC becomes proactive as it re-aligns its budget to acquire essential technology to keep up with its aim of delivering knowledge and skills to students in the best possible way.
A total of Php 6,200,743.97 was proposed in the budget re-alignment to acquire essentials such as communication equipment (fiber optic cabling), internet subscription, printing and publication of course modules, ICT equipment (computer sets), LMS and security software, and technical and scientific equipment.
The re-aligned budget will serve the need for a network backbone for Agoo, Sto. Tomas and Rosario campuses, plus two learning facilities that will be equipped with multimedia computers, cameras, microphones, dedicated internet subscription, and printing and publication of modules.
The university is doing its best to prepare all the necessary tools and equipment for this new educational setup before the next semester begins.
