There is no too much or too little a help they can give!

DMMMSU-SLUC Faculty Association in cooperation with the University Faculty Association once again braved their way out today, April 8, 2020, to extend help despite the SAR-CoV-2 contagion that has been keeping everyone in their homes saved the frontliners.

For its second wave of help, they visited La Union Medical Center, Agoo, La Union and handed the amount of forty-thousand pesos (Php40,000.00) and 600 pieces of face masks.

They also bestowed Caba Community Hospital fifteen thousand pesos (Php 15,000.00) and 200 face masks, and Rosario District Hospital the same – fifteen thousand pesos (Php 15,000.00 and 200 face masks

These three hospitals at the Second District of La Union received the first wave of donations last April 1, 2020 from both the Faculty Association and Nonteaching Association.

Meanwhile, hospitals and other frontline units in the First District of La Union have also been receiving help from the other operating units of DMMMSU.

These activities under DMMMSU para sa Elyu program are in support of the government’s Social Amelioration Program, and DMMMSU’s gesture of appreciation for the sacrifices and the unceasing commitment of frontline workers in carrying out their mission despite the risks and difficulty they face. (Ayu)
