Of the 89 colleges and universities offering fisheries technology undergraduate programs in the Philippines, the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) emerged the 4th best fisheries school in the country today.

Only 6 schools made it to the list, in chronological order:

  1. University of the Philippines -Visayas (Iloilo)
  2. Iloilo State College of Fisheries – Main
  3. Mindanao State University – General Santos City
  4. DMMMSU-SLUC, College of Fisheries, Sto. Tomas
  5. Marinduque State College – Gasan
  6. Northern Negros State College if Science and Technology

Criteria used were: (a) result of the October 2019 fisheries technologist licensure examination; (b) level of accreditation; and (c) faculty-student ratio.
