Professor Anabella Gervacio Valdez of the College of Agriculture has earned nine copyrights for her chevon technology.

Professor Valdez developed the following chevon products: Chevon Bulgogi, Chevon Sisig, Chevon Pinapaitan, Chevon Sinampalukan, and Chevon Mixes flyers; Chevon Bulgogi retort pouch, Chevon Sinampalukan, Chevon Pinapaitan, and Chevon Sisig retort pouch labels.

She also granted three industrial designs of the Chevon equipment to the university.

The chevon technology of DMMMSU is a product of a careful research that resulted in the development of chevon products from slaughter goat. It was funded by PCAARRD and the Pilot and Market test funded by DOST-TECHNICOM generated several patents as protection of the developed chevon products like chevon in retort pouch (sinampalukan, pinapaitan, sisig, and bulgogi), chevon mixes like spicy chevon, sinampalukan, and pinapaitan, and chevon cubes (pinapaitan, sinampalukan and chevon plain).

DOST-TAPI assisted in the registration of copyrights for the flyers and labels of the chevon products. There were 5 chevon flyers (ICT) and 4 labels of the chevon in retort pouch which were registered as copyrights with a lifetime duration for the technology generators as term of protection.
