Prof. Ferdinand Navarro of the College of Agriculture of DMMMSU-SLUC was awarded as an Outstanding High Value Crops Farmer both in the regional and national levels in this year’s Gawad Saka awards ceremonies held at Hotel Supreme, Baguio City on November 11, 2019.

The Outstanding Agricultural Achievers Awards are given to individuals who have given exemplary contribution in the field of agriculture.

The selecting agencies include the National Irrigation Administration, the National Tobacco Administration, the Philippine Statistics Authority, the Agricultural Training Institute, Philippine Coconut Authority, PhilMech, Bureau of Plant Industry, and SUC representatives.

Prof. Navarro is also scheduled to receive a national award at Malacaῆang Palace.
