Two DMMMSU-MLUC Business Administration students currently undergo consulting internship in a leading manufacturing firm in Central Java. Caesar Julius Madriaga and Reyniel Halnin, both senior students of the College of Management, are on international internship as exchange students to Universitas Sajanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
As participants in the SEAMEO SEA-TVET Student Exchange Program, Madriaga and Halnin will spend 30 days of industry exposure under the supervision of UST. They are currently deployed at Hari Mukti Teknik Laundry Machineries, Indonesia’s No. 1 supplier of laundry machines.
For their actual internship work, Mr. Madriaga and Mr. Halnin are assigned, respectively, as marketing consultant and human resource consultant. Way beyond an intern’s work, acting as consultants in a growing corporation is an excellent intercultural experience to beef up the students’ skills and prepare them to be truly globally competitive.
