Engr. Fatima Saludez Rodriguez, Assistant Professor II of the College of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering of DMMMSU-North La Union Campus (NLUC), is recently back from Kansas, USA where she conducted her dissertation titled: “Development of an LED (Light Emitting Diode)-Based Pesticide Residue Detector.”

Her study is sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture which is based in Manhattan, Kansas and funded by the Department of Science and Technology-Engineering Research and Development for Technology of the Philippines.

Engr. Rodriguez is pursuing PhD in Agricultural Engineering at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños, Laguna where she is expected to graduate this December 2019.

She graduated cum laude at DMMMSU-NLUC with the degree of BS Agricultural Engineering.
