DMMMSU is chosen as one of 10 Elsevier IP-Based SUCs

The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) recently selected DMMMSU as one of the 10 state higher education institutions in the country to have an IP (Internet Protocol)-based access.  This means that DMMMSU is afforded unlimited access to ScienceDirect and Scopus through the University network.

With this privilege granted by PCIEERD, DMMMSU is expected to: (a) promote the use of ScienceDirect and Scopus to maximize its usage, (b) increase the number of its research proposals submitted to DOST or PCIEERD for possible funding, and (c) increase the number of its publications (e.g. Scopus and ISI).

The 9 other identified SUCs granted this recognition are:

  • Isabela State University
  • Central Luzon State University
  • Cavite State University
  • Palawan State University
  • Bicol University
  • Visayas State University
  • Central Mindanao University
  • Mindanao State University (Gen. Santos City) and
  • Caraga State University
